Installation position and precautions of stainless steel gas springs

1. The stainless steel gas spring piston rod must be installed downwards and cannot be inverted to reduce friction, ensure shock absorption quality and cushioning performance.
2. Determining the installation position of the support point is a guarantee for the normal operation of the gas spring. The stainless steel gas spring must be installed in the correct way, that is, when it is closed, it should move on the centerline of the structure, otherwise the gas spring will usually automatically reset.

If it is necessary to adjust the direction of engagement, turn the cylinder block or piston rod clockwise.

4. The gas spring is a high-pressure product, and it is strictly prohibited to analyze, ignite, or collide arbitrarily.
5. Air springs should not be subjected to tilting or lateral forces during operation, and should not be used as handrails.
6. The gas spring piston rod should be installed downwards as much as possible to ensure shock absorption and buffering effect.
7. The connecting line between two installation connection points should be as perpendicular as possible to the centerline of the gas spring swing, otherwise it will affect the normal expansion and contraction of the gas spring, and even cause jamming and abnormal noise.
To ensure the reliability of the sealing, the surface of the piston rod should not be damaged. Paint and chemicals are strictly prohibited on the piston rod, and the gas spring should not be pre installed in the position required for welding, polishing, and painting to avoid affecting the service life of the gas spring.
The accurate installation position of the support point is a guarantee for the normal operation of the stainless steel gas spring, that is, when the warehouse door is closed, the gas spring generates a component force on the warehouse door, otherwise the gas spring will automatically push the door open.
Stainless steel gas springs are very useful in practical applications, so it is important to choose the installation position and pay attention to some operating precautions during installation.
