Production Process Of Powder Parts Forming Machine Equipment

In recent years, China has continuously introduced advanced foreign technologies and combined them with independent development and innovation, resulting in a high-speed development trend in the powder metallurgy industry and technology. It is one of the fastest growing industries in the general mechanical components industry in China, and the annual output value of the national powder metallurgy industry increases by 35%.
The powder parts forming machine is a four column structure hydraulic press, which is mainly applicable to the production of powder metallurgy and Machine element based on structural parts, as well as the pressing and forming of iron, copper, aluminum based powder, stainless steel powder, precision ceramics, Electroceramics, graphite and hard synthetic gold products. The pressing technology and finishing technology have reached the international advanced level. Our company can also provide a complete set of technologies from raw material formula, compression molding, heat treatment, and finishing.
The powder parts forming machine system can create a cross-section with a certain small thickness and specific shape based on the shape of the parts, and then bond them layer by layer to obtain the three-dimensional parts that need to be manufactured. Of course, the entire process is automatically completed by the rapid prototyping system under the control of a computer. The forming materials used in RP systems manufactured by different companies are different, and the working principle of the system is also different. However, the basic principle is the same, which is "layered manufacturing, layer by layer stacking". This process can be vividly called "growth method" or "addition method". Each cross-sectional data is equivalent to a medical CT image; The entire manufacturing process can be likened to an "integration" process. RP technology is an integrated development based on modern CAD/CAM technology, laser technology, computer numerical control technology, precision servo drive technology, and new material technology.
(1) Produce powder. The production process of powder includes steps such as powder preparation and powder mixing. To improve the formability and plasticity of powders, plasticizers such as engine oil, rubber, or paraffin are usually added.
(2) Press forming. The powder is pressed into the desired shape under a pressure of 15-600MPa.
(3) Sintering. Conduct in a high-temperature or vacuum furnace with a protective atmosphere. Sintering is different from metal melting, where at least one element is still in a solid state during sintering. During sintering, the powder particles become metallurgical products with certain porosity through a series of physical and chemical processes such as diffusion, recrystallization, fusion welding, combination, dissolution, etc.
(4) In general, sintered parts can be directly used. However, for certain dimensions that require high precision, high hardness, and wear resistance, post sintering treatment is also required. Post processing includes precision pressing, rolling, extrusion, quenching, surface quenching, oil immersion, and infiltration.
The global manufacturing industry is accelerating its transfer to China, and the rapid development of the automotive industry, mechanical manufacturing, metal industry, aerospace, instrumentation, hardware tools, engineering machinery, electronic appliances, and high-tech industries has brought rare development opportunities and huge market space to the powder metallurgy industry. In addition, the powder metallurgy industry has been prioritized and encouraged for foreign investment in China, with broad development prospects.
