How to replace small gas shocks for doors?

To replace small gas shocks for doors, you will need some basic tools such as a drill, a screwdriver, a tape measure, and a pencil. You will also need to buy new gas shocks that match the size and force of the old ones. The general steps are:

Remove the old gas shocks by unscrewing the mounting brackets from the door and the frame. Be careful not to let the door fall or slam.
Measure the distance from the hinge to the center of gravity of the door and mark it on the door with a pencil. This is where you will attach the new gas shock.
Measure the length of the new gas shock and mark it on the frame with a pencil. This is where you will attach the other end of the gas shock.
Drill pilot holes on the marked spots on the door and the frame. Make sure they are aligned and level.
Screw the mounting brackets of the new gas shock to the door and the frame. Make sure they are tight and secure.
Attach the gas shock to the mounting brackets by snapping or screwing them in place. Make sure they are oriented correctly and not twisted or bent.
Test the door by opening and closing it several times. Adjust the force or position of the gas shock if needed.
